Getting to know Olivia Hendrickson 

How did you get involved with boxing?

My father used to box when he was in college and now he is a Master boxer.  He asked me if I wanted to go to the gym with him, I went, got hooked and quit playing basketball. 

How old were you when you began boxing?


What is your strength in the ring?


What are your goals in and out of the ring?

My goal is to go to college and get an education-preferably a college with a boxing program, keep boxing and remain focused

Do you play any other sports?

Previously basketball, softball but now its strictly boxing 

Who is your greatest influence and why?

My dad, Mark, because he supports me with what I want to do and helps me get to where I wants to be.

How many brothers and sisters do you have?

2 sisters one older and one younger 

Does any one else in the family box?

Yes, my sister Isabella

Oscar Media and my father Mark Hendrickson​

What do you love most about boxing?

It is a difficult sport, but you can always learn something from people and there are lots of opportunities. 

What do you like about our LBC?

I don't know much about it, my father is involved on that level, but I like that there is a boxing program and lots of competitions 

What would you like to see improved in our LBC?

I would like to see girls compete in combined male and female Golden Gloves and Silver Gloves Tournaments 

What do you think is a quote to live by?

Impossible is Nothing-Muhammad Ali

If you had the chance, who would you like to meet?

Canelo Alvarez, because he is a talented boxer and has done a lot with his life.
