Getting to know Elias Lopez Jr

How did you get involved with boxing?

Through my dad, I tried it and I liked it. 

How old were you when you began boxing?

6 years old 

What do you love most about boxing?

It is a one on one sport.

 What is your strength in the ring?

Speed and power 

What are your goals in and out of the ring?

To become a pro boxer and an artist 

What are your hobbies outside of boxing?

Drawing and video games 

Do you play any other sports?

Soccer and baseball 

Who is your greatest influence and why?

My mom, she teaches me right from wrong and my dad because he keeps me off the streets and away from gangs and also my uncles, my dad's brothers

 What is something interesting about you that most people don't know? 

That I work very well with my hands, can draw well, and put things together well.  He likes building birdhouses.

How many brothers and sisters do you have?

2 sisters and 1 brother, I am the 3rd oldest 

Does any one else in the family box?

My younger brother Jose who is 6 is going to box.

My parents and my teacher, Ms. Parker 

What do you like about our LBC?

I get to know people from all over Wisconsin 

What do you think is a quote to live by?

The Golden Rule-treat others the way you would like to be treated.  One day at a time and learn from each mistake. 

What is your happiest moment in boxing?

When I beat Scooter Jesse Leopold from UCC, no on thought I could win and I beat him 3 times.
